First memory of my musical journey that I can remember is Mum playing a Ray Charles LP as She was a big Ray Charles fan. Since the age of 12, I’ve been passionately collecting Soul records, drawn to the sounds of Soulful America. What began as a childhood fascination with the sound that changed America, grew into a lifelong pursuit of rare pressings, forgotten gems, and iconic releases that define the Soul genre. Over the years, my collection has become a personal archive of musical history—each record a story of rhythm, emotion, and cultural legacy that continues to inspire me. Even after over 50 years of going out collecting, doing disco's, parties, bars etc I'm still learning and finding hidden gems which still gives me a buzz. I have shared my passion on a few radio stations in the past, where I have made some life long friends. I am pleased to be a part of Rare Groove Radio and sharing my melodies and memories with you.
